How It Works
A clear, step-by-step path from application to earning your FAA certificates.
Apply Online
Submit your application and supporting documents through our admissions team. We'll review your background and aviation goals to recommend the right program.
Receive Your I-20
Once accepted, we issue your Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility) so you can apply for your M-1 student visa at a US embassy or consulate in your country.
Obtain Your M-1 Visa
Apply for your M-1 student visa with your I-20 in hand. Our admissions team will guide you through the documentation requirements and interview preparation.
Arrive & Orientate
Upon arrival in New Bern, you'll receive a full orientation covering housing, transportation, local culture, and your training schedule. You're never on your own.
Begin Flight Training
Start your structured training program with your assigned CFI. Ground school, simulator sessions, and flight hours are all coordinated to keep you on track.
Earn Your Certificates
Complete your program and earn FAA-recognized certificates — PPL, IFR, CPL — that are respected by aviation authorities and airlines worldwide.

M-1 Visa Sponsorship
We are an SEVP-certified institution authorized to issue Form I-20 and sponsor M-1 student visas for eligible international applicants.
Housing Assistance
We help you find comfortable, affordable housing near our training facility. Options include shared apartments and homestay programs with local families.
Transportation Guidance
We'll help you arrange airport pickup, local transportation, and access to vehicles so you can get to the airport and around New Bern with ease.
Cultural Orientation
Our orientation program covers US customs, banking, healthcare, and day-to-day life so you can settle in quickly and focus on your training.
Dedicated Advisor
Every international student is assigned a dedicated advisor who serves as your point of contact throughout your entire program — from enrollment to graduation.
English Language Support
We provide resources and referrals for English language proficiency support to ensure you can succeed in ground school and communicate effectively in the cockpit.
Eligibility Requirements
To enroll in our International Student Pilot Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Valid passport with at least 12 months remaining
- Minimum age of 17 years for PPL; 18 for CPL
- Proof of financial ability to cover tuition and living expenses
- Basic English proficiency (ICAO Level 4 or equivalent preferred)
- FAA Third-Class Medical Certificate (we can assist with scheduling)
- TSA Alien Flight Student Program (AFSP) clearance required before solo flight
